Having a friendly chat with Kathie Lee Gifford during her weekly podcast today (October 30), Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner brought to light the details about life since she and husband Bruce Jenner separated after 22 years of marriage.
"We're just separated," the 57-year-old said on Kathie Lee and Company. "We are better people and happier just spending time apart than we are spending time together. It's just what we need to do right now."
Kris said that their relationship has been friendly enough, and mentioned that the entire Jenner and Kardashian clans reunited to celebrate Bruce's birthday over the weekend. She followed up, saying, "I would rather have him in my life as a friend than not in my life at all."
She also spoke at Kim Kardashian's birthday bash about her dating situation: "I don't have time to date anybody. I mean it all sounds great, right? My fake little fantasy life that they're making up for me as I go along. Some of the things people write often fascinate me…it's like a creative writing experience. But I'm not dating anybody, but I do have a lot of really great friends who are a lot of fun and we hang out all the time. I'm working on a lot of amazing projects at work, that I'll tell you about later."
